GGDA Meeting Post Report

GGDA Meeting Post Report
Last night was the first GGDA Meeting Tony and I have attended. All was well and we got some more information about the upcoming SIEGE con. Price should be somewhere between $25-$45. Which is more than reasonable for a three day conference.

We also managed to get on a few good rounds of Call of Duty 4. I’ve been playing my 360 so much lately that wrapping my fingers around that keyboard felt a little awkward. I got back into a groove pretty quickly though. I also got my first taste of Team Fortress 2. I’ve had Orange Box for a long time but this was the one game I hadn’t touched yet out of the bundle. Definitely something I’ll be playing more.

Thanks to The Computer Arena for hosting us. Everyone that works there is pretty damn friendly and the place itself is quite amazing. Waaaaay bigger than I expected. They also have a small selection of beers and the most Bawls you will ever see.

We met some cool people including Tom Grant, who just happened to know our good friend Eric Slack. Be sure to check them out. That’s about all, looking forward to the next one.
