aG Flashback: Scarface Postmortem


Every now and then we come across great articles related to game audio that were before the time of aG. This one about Scarface is one such article. I remember reading the description of the panel at GDC 2007 involving Scarface’s Audio Postmortem and being pretty excited about it. Considering that I’m currently and Sound Designer for television post production, learning how Scarface had created a unique way to sweeten the game using film post techniques and Randy Thom from Skywalker Sound was my highest priority when going to GDC. And it was probably the best panel that I had gone to that trip.
